New Release – Twin Oaks Floating Island

100% Donation to Operation Squeegee

Operation Squeegee is a Second Life project raising funds for the National Wildlife Federation’s Oil Spill relief fund.  I wanted to make something for the Operation Squeegee fundraiser with an organic feel, something useful and usable.  I ended up with the Clutter ™ Twin Oaks Floating Island.  It’s 18m x 18m x 25m, 30 prims. (L$400) It works really well in the sky, or partially submerged in water and is suitable for any parcel over 512m2. (L$400 copy/mod).

The floating island seats from one to eight people with 95 sit positions.  Sits are located in the tree stumps, pillows, blanket and on the forest floor.  Once you’re seated, you can adjust any sit by saying /1a and following the menu.  To select another sit, simply touch the prim you sat on again. You can touch the bookstack for a wearable book.

Operation Squeegee was conceived by Further Monday/Tidal Shoreland. The fundraiser is open to the public from July 1st to 15th, with a blogger preview day on June 30th.  Click HERE to see all the amazing items for sale for this worthy cause.  Be sure to bring your Linden balance, there is a lot of really cool stuff.
